I have worked in the construction industry all my adult life. I spent many years ‘on the tools’ and gained my Carpentry NVQ qualifications. I spent many years running my own Carpentry business, employing others and delivering a quality service to both domestic and commercial clients.

Alongside this I gained my A1 assessor accreditation which enabled me to deliver on site assessment and provide Carpentry NVQ qualifications to others, as well as becoming a union learning rep to unlock funding and training opportunities.

 

A change in direction resulted in me hanging up my tool belt and concentrating on project management. I have spent the last 8 years working alongside a local company delivering extremely high-end new build and refurbishment projects across North Cornwall. During this time, I was able to use my skills such as design, procurement, finance, customer liaison and of course site management. You will always find me in the thick of it onsite rather than behind a desk.

 

I transferred my Skills to join Poltair in November 2024. I am really enjoying being part of the team and delivering a quality product to the clients.

 

In my spare time I enjoy listening to live music, I am a rock chic at heart. I have been attending pole fitness classes for the last 2 years in an attempt to keep fit, I also enjoy a ride around the coastline on my motorbike when the weather is kind as well as walks with my partner and dog. Through our local club, I am also a ‘Dreckly maid’ where we fund raise for local charities with some sing along tunes from the Dreckly boys mail voice choir.
