My Construction career commenced with attending the University of the West of England to study Quantity Surveying.  I commenced working with Wimpey at this time and through various acquisitions and mergers continued my career with Tarmac and later Carillion.  I was employed as a Quantity Surveyor by Carillion for 28 years in total and worked on a range of projects spanning from schools, student accommodation, hospitals, retail and offices amongst other projects both PFI schemes and traditional tendered and negotiated contracts. The last five years I have been working in Housing in the Devon and Cornwall area. 

 

I am a keen Gig Rower and compete regularly through the Summer months, I am part of the Team that coach the Junior section within my Club.  I also still play and coach Netball and enjoy swimming and doing crafts when I have time.
